Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team and gain hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair within commercial and construction settings. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills under the guidance of experienced electricians. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a passion for the electrical trade.

Duties

Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support project execution. Use hand tools, power tools, and low voltage testing equipment safely and effectively. Help with wiring, conduit bending, and cable management according to specifications. Support the setup and teardown of construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working on job sites.

Requirements

Prior experience or familiarity with commercial electrician work is preferred but not required. Basic electrical experience including understanding of schematics, blueprints, and low voltage systems is advantageous. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Strong understanding of safety standards related to electrical work. Ability to work in construction environments with physical stamina for lifting and standing for extended periods. Willingness to learn on the job under supervision from licensed electricians. Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings as applicable.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 55 per week
