Job Description

LAD Power & Controls is a Calgary based installer of building automation and HVAC controls specializing in commercial, industrial and multi-residential applications. We are currently seeking self-motivated, reliable

second, third and fourth year electrical apprentices

to join our team.

Responsibilities



Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings. Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors. Position, maintain and install control equipment. Splice, join and connect wire to form circuits. Read and interpret electrical, mechanical drawings and electrical code specifications.

Successful candidates will possess the following:



Interest in the electrical and HVAC field and a willingness to learn Ability to take direction, receptive to mentoring Proficient tool usage Commitment to safety Pride in workmanship Ability to work independently and as a part of a team Hard working, punctual and reliable

Qualifications that are considered an asset:



Registered electrical apprentice; SAIT's Pre-employment electrician course and/or good working knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations Construction experience specifically bending, cutting, installing conduit First aid, fall protection, lift training, WHMIS
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
