About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled Apprentice Electrician to join our team, working on projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This role involves working on a variety of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings, with a primary focus on new construction high-end residential custom homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the electrical rough-in and wiring for new construction projects, with a focus on residential custom homes and light commercial projects Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues and making necessary repairs Assist with testing electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly Follow safety protocols and adhere to all electrical codes and regulations Maintain a clean and organized work area Participate in team efforts to troubleshoot and resolve any on-site issues during the construction process Ensure all work adheres to Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) standards and meets project-specific requirements Maintain a clean and safe job site, ensuring tools and materials are organized and ready for use

Experience:

Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components Familiarity with low voltage systems (e.g., Control4, AV, or networking systems) is an asset Experience using power tools and hand tools Previous experience as an apprentice or working in a related field Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Skills:

Proficiency in electrical work, including wiring, circuitry, and troubleshooting Knowledge of power tools and hand tools commonly used in electrical work Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
