Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Apprentice boom truck driver. In this role you will be working along side a boom truck driver to help deliver construction materials across the HRM. Heavy lifting daily will be required and working outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials. Operate heavy equipment as needed during loading and unloading processes. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.

Qualifications

Class 5 license is a must Air breaks class 3 class 1 forklift fall arrest
Lifting 100-150 pounds daily will be required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
