Atlantic Road Construction & Paving is a large heavy civil construction company specializing in mass excavation, underground utilities, concrete placement, and asphalt paving. Our team has had tremendous growth in the last year, and we are excited to keep expanding. We are currently looking to hire a

Boom Truck Driver/Operator

to join our growing team. Reporting to the Transportation Manager the successful hire will drive our 9-tonne knuckle boom, (ten-wheeler truck with hook, no cable) move gear & materials to various locations.

Qualifications:

Class 3 license required, with air brake endorsement. Class 4 Mobile Crane Operator certificate Clean driver's abstract Reliable & punctual. Comfortable working flexible hours as required to move gear while not in use. Physically capable of securing equipment safely & effectively. Able to maneuver heavy equipment for loading & unloading. Comfortable working independently. Comfortable driving boom truck throughout HRM, including the downtown area.

Duties and Requirements:

Maintain driver logbook. Accurately submitting daily timesheet. Pre trip and truck inspection. Loading & securing equipment & materials. Follow all regulations as set put by the Motor Vehicle Act. Safely transport equipment & materials to various sites in HRM.
