The Applications Engineering/EIT position will be a crucial part of the Proposals and Applications team within our client's Automation & Robotics division. This role includes planning, managing, and creating custom solutions in response to customer RFQ/RFPs. It will capitalize on your strong motivation, engineering problem-solving skills, project management capabilities, and business acumen.

Responsibilities:

Coordinating, controlling, and developing detailed proposals in response to customer RFQ/RFPs
/lili
Compliance with customer's RFQ/RFP submission requirements and evaluation criteria
/lili
Creating innovative concepts for Automation & Robotics
/lili
Facilitating communication between internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers and resolving technical matters by collaborating with internal/external stakeholders
/lili
Coaching and mentoring junior employees for their growth and development within the organization
/lili
Maintaining and servicing specific customer accounts.
/lili
Responding to requests for quotations promptly and efficiently

Successful candidates will have:
/spanulli
Bachelor of Engineering or Science or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems, or a related field
/lili
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) eligible and registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario is preferred or registered EIT
/lili
Minimum 3-5 plus years of Electrical or Mechanical Design or Applications Engineering
/lili
Minimum three years of experience in proposals, applications, sales, and or business development
/lili
Must have experience with SolidWorks
/lili
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical controls and integration of equipment (preferred)
/lili
Must have a working knowledge of robotics, machine controls and manufacturing processes and be able to keep abreast of leading-edge technology
/lili
Experience and working knowledge of most CSA and ASME standards
