The BAO team is a multidisciplinary team that develops applications for opening accounts and managing investment profiles for National Bank clients. We play a key role in the Bank’s digital transformation and are looking for an application architect to join the BAO team to collaborate with the Wealth Management business lines (National Bank Financial) and financial markets (National Bank Direct Brokerage). • Develop technology solutions that meet business needs and are in line with architecture orientations
• Influence architecture decisions and orientations
• Participate in automating development processes
• Collaborate with technical teams (solutions architects, data architects, systems analysts, developers, etc.) and challenge the proposals made
• Serve as an expert on the technological aspects of the product
• Diagnose problem situations and help solve complex problems
• Play an active role in deliveries, with the development teams

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree OR other degree in a related field and more than 6 years of relevant experience
• At least 3 years of experience as an application architect in a software delivery team
• Mastery of the following concepts and technologies: Cloud, REST APIs, web and API security, real-time data flows, Kafka and MQ
• Knowledge of Jenkins, Git, Docker and Nexus
• Team player, ability to take charge, good communication skills
• Experience in delivery in Agile mode: Scrum, SAFe or DevOps, an asset
• Knowledge of banking operations processes, an asset
• Ability to adapt in an environment undergoing transformation
• Full proficiency in French (spoken and written)
