Job Description

We're looking for an appliance installer to join our team! You'll start off as an installer's helper and receive extensive training to become an appliance installer.

If you are looking for a job where you get paid to learn new skills, and every day is a little different, then this is the job for you! Appliance installations involves learning basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC skills, as well as many others.

Job Overview:

Appliance Installer will deliver and install household kitchen appliances, mostly in Edmonton and surrounding area. Workdays average out to 8 hours a day, but may vary due to demand.

Responsibilities:

Once trained, installers will be responsible for following scheduled delivery and installs, and communicating with the office, site superintendents, and customers. Normal vehicle maintenance, as well as cleaning and organizing will be required as well.

All tools, and supplies are provided. Tools must be properly maintained and kept in good working order.

This is an entry level position where you will be trained in appliance installation, but some relevant problem solving, plumbing, or electrical skills are an asset.

Job requirements:

- Fluent in written and spoken English, able to communicate with our office as well as customers

- Valid clean Class 5 licence required, as well as basic navigation skills (this is a MUST)

- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanour at all times

- Ability to lift 35+ KG

- At least 18 years old

- Willingness to learn

- Attention to detail

Starting wage dependant on previous experience, but can go up depending on skill level acquired throughout training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
