Overview:

Adastra is hiring an experienced Application Development Lead to architect and deliver enterprise-grade applications leveraging Azure Entra for identity and access management. This is a leadership role that combines technical expertise with strategic vision to guide development teams and ensure secure, scalable solutions

Responsibilities:

Lead application development initiatives from design through deployment, ensuring best practices and high-quality standards Architect and design applications leveraging Azure services and Azure Entra for identity and access management Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and align solutions with business objectives Drive adoption of modern development frameworks and cloud-native architectures Ensure compliance with security and governance standards across all applications

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in a lead or architect role within application development Strong expertise in Azure App Services, Azure Entra, and related cloud technologies Proficiency in C# for backend development Hands-on experience with React and Next.js for modern front-end development Solid understanding of identity management, authentication, and authorization patterns Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills with the ability to mentor development teams

Nice to Have:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in Azure Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) Knowledge of security best practices in cloud application development
