We are looking for an Accounts Payable Vendor Resolution Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has an eye for process improvements. You will be a key component of the Operations Accounting team and play a part in managing the growth that Cymax is experiencing.

The Team

More than just number crunchers, our Finance team is relentless in providing value-add analysis and recommendations that help to drive organizational growth. This team provides the business with up-to-date financial reports, streamlines and automates processes to keep all operations running smoothly, and more importantly, ensures that we all get paid! Our Finance team prides itself on their friendly, engaged and supportive team members, which enable their top-notch customer service throughout the business.

What You'll Do

• Provide timely communication to vendors and internal stakeholders with respect to inquiries on invoices, payments and credit memos (via AP inquiry shared inbox, phone calls and Microsoft Team meetings)
• Coordinate weekly product vendor payments with our offshore teams
• Assist our product vendors in investigating rejected invoices (identify root cause, help resolve by working with sales, IT and vendor onboarding teams)
• Reconcile complex customer accounts
• Work directly with Vendor AR teams to trouble shoot variance in remittances
• Work with external auditors on quarterly and annual audits for Accounts Payable
• Assist on ad-hoc projects

Who You Are

• 3-5 years of experience within an Accounting Department and/or equivalent combination of related education and experience
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and assist others when needed
• Excellent time management, ability to prioritize deadlines and tasks
• Attention to detail, ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Familiarity with JIRA, PowerBI and/or Microsoft Great Plains is an asset
• Post-Secondary education in Accounting or Finance, accounting designation is an asset
