TF Energy Solutions is looking to hire an experienced AP Team Lead based in Calgary, AB.


The ideal candidate would have a few years of experience of managing an AP team covering various AP functions. Willing and able to work alongside the AP team members, but also feels comfortable working with banks, IT, or other teams of the organization on new projects or issues with payment setup/processing or questions on various invoices. The successful candidate understands interco of multi-company scenarios. Must have the ability to research and provide analyses related to vendor transactions from time to time, and report team members' workload and effectiveness periodically.


A successful candidate should have strong communication skills and attention to detail, be an excellent team player, with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Infinium software experience is preferred. TMW knowledge would be an asset.


Reporting to Director of Finance, the Accounts Payable Team Lead will manage an AP team. Currently the AP team is responsible for the following:

Scope of Work:

Following proper procedures in organizing new vendor setup or vendor changes Understanding company structures for correct G/L coding Ensuring proper approval before inputting invoices via uploading, interfacing or manual entering Generating EFT/ACH and cheque runs according to schedule Posting AP batches and closing AP module at month-end Compiling unpaid invoices at month-end for accrual Assisting in month-end journal entries and maintaining accounting records Answering internal and external queries
