Position Overview:



We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate

AP Teacher

with experience teaching Advanced Placement courses. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the AP curriculum, a strong commitment to student success, and the ability to create an engaging and challenging learning environment.

Responsibilities:



Teach one or more AP courses (e.g., AP Math, AP English, AP Science, etc.) in alignment with the College Board standards. Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that meet AP curriculum requirements and challenge students academically. Provide individualized support to students to help them prepare for AP exams and achieve academic excellence. Continuously evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, quizzes, and AP exam simulations. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning sessions. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and active participation. Stay up-to-date with AP course updates and requirements from the College Board to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and effective.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in education or a relevant subject area (Master's degree preferred).

At least 1 year of experience

teaching AP courses in a high school setting. Strong knowledge of the AP curriculum and exam structure. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to engage students with innovative teaching methods and motivate them to succeed. Passionate about teaching and mentoring high school students. Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms is a plus.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
