What We're Looking For:

We're seeking educators who can teach one or more AP or IB subjects. Candidates should ideally bring:

AP Teacher Qualifications (preferred):

Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject. Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in high school level courses (AP experience a plus). Participation in AP professional development (e.g., AP Summer Institute, workshops, training sessions). Experience teaching AP Seminar or Research, or other AP courses, is highly valued.

IB Teacher Qualifications (preferred):

Bachelor's degree with teacher training or a minimum of 3 years K-12 teaching experience. Participation in IB workshops, especially Category 1 workshops related to the subject. Experience teaching IB courses is a strong plus, though not mandatory--demonstrated understanding of IB pedagogy, assessment, and inquiry-based learning is valued.

Responsibilities:

Deliver structured and engaging instruction aligned with AP/IB syllabi. Prepare students for exams, internal assessments (e.g., EE, IA), and develop critical thinking skills. Design lesson plans, mock exams, and feedback tailored to AP/IB rigour. Collaborate with centre staff to track student progress and adapt teaching strategies.
