Reporting to Manager, Shared Services, Shared Service, the AP Administrator will be a member of the Finance team responsible for assisting in the day-to-day clerical, accounting, and administrative work of the team.
JOB DUTIES AND ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor, review, action AP Inbox email for communication, invoices and credits
AP invoice management and processing including distribution, matching and GL coding, audit, approval, invoice validity, completeness and accuracy
Verify receipts, support documentation and match to invoices (both SAP PO and non-SAP PO)
Entry of AP invoices for the purpose of reviewing and processing payments
Reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor queries
Management of the EFT conversion process for all vendors in all company codes
Completion of the Period Close/Year End process for AP
Review/Cleanup of all open items in AP including SAP and non-SAP POs
Become familiar with all other office processes and assist in administrative tasks including filing, scanning and indexing, recording and retention
Training and support of all other AP team member
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Intermediate level of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Dynamic team player who also works well independently
Strong organizational and time management skills are required
Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in an accurate manner
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
2-3 years of experience in an accounting work environment Accounts Payable is an asset
SAP experience is an asset
Bilingualism (French/English) highly desired
