ABOUT THE ROLE

The Annual Giving Manager leads and implements multi-channel strategies for donor acquisition, solicitation for entry-level gifts and strategies for gift renewal and upgrades which create a habit of giving on a regular basis that translates into meaningful legal, environmental protection. The Annual Giving Manager is a member of the Individual Giving team and works closely with Ecojustice\xe2\x80\x99s Philanthropy Officers to grow support from legacy and midlevel donors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Annual Giving Manager, you will:

  • Oversee strategy development for and implementation of Ecojustice\xe2\x80\x99s Direct Response Program, including managing relationships with fundraising consultants and supervising the Philanthropy Associate and/or volunteers.
  • Develop collateral for direct mail, online and phone campaigns.
  • Analyse response rates and giving patterns, adapting your work appropriately to the results.
  • Conduct operational planning and budgeting, setting annual revenue and stewardship goals along with a plan to meet them.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to move donors to increased levels of giving.
  • Develop, execute, and manage an integrated digital marketing strategy across all digital platforms and channels to drive donations.

ROLE SUCCESS

Typically, we find that people who succeed in this role bring:
  • Minimum of 3 years fundraising experience, with proven multichannel fundraising program and project management experience.
  • Supervisory experience and/or experience coordinating teams.
  • Experience managing comprehensive budgets; developing revenue targets, expense projections and reforecasts.
  • Experience developing and reporting on KPIs, taking a data-driven approach to annual giving strategies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of database and data management knowledge, including experience in gift processing, exporting data and data segmentation.
  • Strong ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders and through a range of channels.
