We are currently looking for a passionate and committed

support worker

for our

Active-Action program

, an essential service designed for our aging clientele. Offered in partnership with the

CIUSSS de l'Ouest-de-l'Ile

and the

Endeavour Program

of the

Lester B. Pearson School Board

, this program includes daytime activities and home visits.

What you'll do:

Plan and lead stimulating individual and group activities Assess participants' needs and set personalized goals Promote autonomy through a strengths-based approach Support participants with hygiene, health, and nutrition needs Supervise and guide volunteers and interns Handle administrative follow-ups (attendance, reports, communications, etc.) Work closely with the team and seek support when needed

What we're looking for:

College diploma (DEC) in Special Education, Recreation, or a related field Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle Experience working with a vulnerable population (a strong asset!) Bilingualism is essential (French/English) to support a primarily English-speaking clientele Comfortable with basic computer tools Excellent interpersonal skills: empathy, discretion, teamwork A genuine desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives
