About the job: Modern Veterinary Therapeutics is seeking an Animal Health Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for the territory of Manitoba/Saskatchewan. Function: To develop and maintain a partner relationship with practicing small animal and production animal veterinarians by providing high quality products. Essential functions: 1. Achieve and/or exceed sales and promotional goals as directed by management 2. Effectively develop and manage all veterinary accounts for both small animals (dogs and cats) and large animals (pigs/cattle/horses). 3. Effectively manage and build privileged relationships with veterinarians, clinic staff, representatives of purchasing groups and partners working in the assigned territory. Additional Responsibilities: 1. Provide market data and information regarding competitive products. Submit information about promotions, prices, etc. 2. Work local veterinary tradeshow exhibit booth as requested by management. 3. Present a professional image. 4. Maintain all company property in excellent condition. Relations and contacts: Internal: Weekly contact with assigned personnel regarding sales and marketing issues. External: Veterinarians and technicians in general practice, veterinarians in academia, veterinary students, distribution partners and livestock producers.
