Key Responsibilities:

Sweeping and mopping floors Lifting, scooping, dumping, and refilling litter boxes Washing dishes, doing laundry, and cleaning windows Handling and restraining cats and dogs Cleaning and sanitizing dog kennels Maintaining a clean and sanitary yard Receiving and organizing food and litter deliveries Organizing donations as required Monitoring and reporting on the health and behavior of animals Maintaining a safe and orderly environment with minimal supervision
Required Qualifications & Skills:

Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly Knowledge of safe animal restraint techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in animal care or cleaning Knowledge of teaching obedience skills to dogs Willingness and ability to learn on the job

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with animals is preferred
- Canine behaviour problems/modification experience is preferred
- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion
- Physically fit heavy lifting required (up to 100 pounds)
- Must have own transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
