Who are we looking for:



The Sr. Analytics Engineer's primary objective is to guide ACV in identifying and meeting the needs of its customers. This role is focused primarily on supporting the reconciliation and alignment of auctions and pricing data across our evolving marketplace mediums and formats.



What you will do:



Develop and analyze large data sets Build reports and dashboards to give stakeholders visibility into relevant metrics Improve our user experience through robustly designed AB tests Identify root cause for any KPI drift and make recommendations for cure Increase dealer engagement to drive STR/Conversion by surfacing insights about our vehicle pricing strategies Present recommendations on initiative priority and influence stakeholders through data and thoughtful interpretation of findings Independent project ownership. Identify and organize key stakeholders, define scope, timeline, and execution of implementation plan without supervision Train and mentor fellow Analytics Engineers

What you will need:



BA/BS in Statistics, Operations Research, or similar computationally intensive degree -or- college/university degree in Computer Science or relevant field. Masters/Ph.D. is ideal but can be offset by experience in the field and a deep toolbox 5+ years of relevant, professional work experience related to position Experience designing and executing on major initiatives from the ground up Experience delivering on projects using multiple toolkits and for multiple teams Ability to navigate conflicting technical requirements and work collaboratively across projects towards a win-win solution Functional competency in Python Strong Professional Experience with MySQL / BigQuery Experience with data visualization / dashboarding tools like Tableau Expertise in exploratory data analysis and the basics of data-driven reasoning are a must dbt experience is an asset

Compensation:

$120,000.00 - $153,000.00 CAD annually. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law. #LI-AM1
