Analyste principal - Partenariat d'Affaires & Analyse Financiere
Notre client, actif dans le secteur immobilier, souhaite ajouter a son equipe un professionnel analytique, polyvalent et oriente solutions afin de soutenir directement le VP Finance & Gestion d'actifs. Dans un contexte ou plusieurs projets sont en cours (financement, construction, ouvertures d'immeubles), l'organisation recherche une personne capable de prendre en charge divers mandats analytiques, d'ameliorer les processus et de soutenir autant la haute direction que les equipes de comptabilite, finance et operations.
Cette personne jouera un role cle a l'intersection de la comptabilite, des finances et de la gestion d'actifs : construction et optimisation de modeles financiers, amelioration des outils d'analyse, automatisation des processus et amelioration de la qualite des donnees. Le role contribuera egalement a alleger la charge du VP et a stabiliser les activites financieres et operationnelles. Le poste offre de solides perspectives d'evolution a moyen et long terme.
Lieu : Centre-ville de Montreal, mode hybride

RESPONSABILITES
Construire, optimiser et automatiser des modeles financiers (maitrise avancee d'Excel et solide connaissance de VBA requise).
Realiser des analyses ad hoc pour repondre aux besoins des proprietaires, de la haute direction, du VP finance, des controleurs et de l'equipe comptable.
Appuyer les projections de valorisation, incluant l'utilisation d'ARGUS (un atout majeur).
Soutenir le VP Finance & Gestion d'actifs dans le suivi et la gestion des actifs immobiliers.
Contribuer a la preparation et au suivi des dossiers de financement, des projets de construction et des ouvertures d'immeubles.
Participer a l'identification et a la resolution de problematiques financieres, operationnelles ou analytiques affectant la performance des actifs.
Agir comme point de contact analytique entre la comptabilite, les operations et la gestion d'actifs.
Aider les controleurs et comptables a ameliorer les analyses financieres, affiner les outils de reporting et optimiser les processus.
Proposer des solutions technologiques ou analytiques et participer a l'amelioration continue.
Faire evoluer les outils d'analyse et les capacites Excel (modelisation, programmation, automatisation).
Developper des gabarits structures, ameliorer la qualite du reporting, renforcer l'integrite des donnees et simplifier les processus internes.
Identifier des opportunites d'optimisation dans l'ensemble des fonctions financieres.
EXIGENCES:

  • Diplome universitaire requis, MBA est un fort atout
Maitrise avancee d'Excel (modelisation, programmation, automatisation).
Connaissance de VBA et/ou d'autres outils de programmation.
Bonne comprehension des principes comptables et des etats financiers.
Connaissance du secteur immobilier ou de la gestion immobiliere.
Experience avec ARGUS : atout majeur.
Excellentes capacites analytiques.
Grande curiosite intellectuelle et apprentissage rapide.
Polyvalence et aisance a naviguer entre plusieurs secteurs (finance, operations, gestion d'actifs).
Capacite a prendre en charge des dossiers, resoudre des problemes et mener des projets a terme.

Senior Business & Financial Analyst
Our client in the real estate industry is looking to add an analytical, versatile, and solutions-oriented professional to directly support the VP of Finance & Asset Management. With multiple projects underway (financing, construction, building openings), the organization needs someone capable of taking ownership of a variety of analytical mandates, improving processes, and supporting senior management as well as the accounting, finance, team and operations teams.
This individual will play a key role across accounting, finance, and asset management by building and optimizing financial models, enhancing analytical tools, and elevating automation and data quality. The role also helps relieve the VP's workload and support the stabilization of financial and operational activities. The position offers strong mid to long term opportunities for growth.
Location: Downtown Montreal, hybrid

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build, optimize, and automate financial models (advanced Excel and solid VBA proficiency required;
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support the needs of ownership, senior management, VP finance, controllers, and the accounting team VP.
  • Support valuation projections, including the use of ARGUS (a significant asset).
  • Support the VP Finance & Asset Management in monitoring and managing real estate assets.
  • Contribute to preparing and tracking financing files, construction projects, and building openings.
  • Help identify and resolve various financial, operational, and analytical issues affecting asset performance.
  • Act as an analytical point of contact between accounting, operations, and asset management.
  • Assist controllers and accountants in improving financial analyses, and refining and optimizing reporting tools.
  • Improve processes and bring forward technological or analytical solutions.
  • Elevate analytical tools and Excel capabilities to the next level (modelling, programming, automation).
  • Develop structured templates, enhance reporting quality, reinforce data integrity, and simplify internal analytical and reporting processes.
  • Identify optimization opportunities across all financial functions.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree is required, MBA is a strong asset
  • Expert-level Excel skills (modelling, programming, automation and more).
  • Knowledge of VBA and other programming tools.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Knowledge of the real estate sector or property management.
  • Experience with ARGUS: major asset.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • High intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly.
  • Versatility and comfort working across multiple areas (finance, operations, asset management).
  • Ability to take ownership of files, solve problems, and bring projects to completion.
