ABOUT THE TEAM
The Analyst, Pension and Benefits (Temporary - 15 or 18 months) will oversee the administration of pension and benefits plans for all PSP employees, with a particular focus on Canadian, UK and expatriate plans. Additionally, he/she will handle disability case management and collaborate as needed with internal stakeholders and external vendors. The incumbent will also actively support the team in implementing new initiatives. This role requires strong analytical, communication and organizational skills to succeed.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As an Analyst, Pension and Benefits, you'll:Administer the various benefits plans for employees in all offices, namely group insurance, pension plans, voluntary saving plans, employee assistance programs (EAP), wellness programs and other benefits Handle day-to-day disability management, including tracking, coordination with employees and internal stakeholders, insurance and third-party providers Act as the second-tier resource for benefits-related questions Prepare analyses and data for pension and benefits activities and participate in regular governance tasks, such as reconciliations and tracking of key compliance deadlines Act as a custodian of pension and benefits data, ensuring the highest level of integrity and accuracy by performing regular audits Actively participate in the annual renewal process of global benefits plans Document new and existing procedures and/or practices, and contribute to the development and improvement of team and HR processes Contribute to the deployment of benefits-related programs and initiatives and ensure on-going administration Contribute to the development of targeted employee communications for new launches or changes or to aid in administrative tasks

WHAT YOU'LL NEEDUniversity degree in actuarial sciences, human resources, mathematics, or other relevant field of study Professional designation in human resources, compensation or benefits management (ACIA, FCIA, CEBS, CHRA, etc.), an asset Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience, preferably in a consulting firm or within an organization with offices outside Canada, an asset Ability to work as part of a team, in the spirit of collaboration, and maintain excellent interpersonal relations Ability to manage several files at the same time without missing deadlines Demonstrate flexibility, accountability and a proactive, organized approach to autonomous task management Excellent analytical skills; ability to draw conclusions from analytical results and data and summarize results in a concise manner Excellent Excel skills, as well as other tools of the MS Office suite Excellent communicator, with effective and professional written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work Ability to learn how to use new computer tools, platforms or systems High level of discretion and professionalism Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)*
