Job Summary:The Loyalty Analyst will play a key role in the expansion of Porters Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities. Our teams goal is to ensure business units within the organization have access to the data they need to make informed and insightful decisions. We are looking for someone who has a strong analytical ability, likes to be inquisitive, and is passionate about data analytics and reporting. This role will have a dotted line connection with the Loyalty Manager and will focus on deriving customer insights from the VIPorter program to improve business decisions and increase customer lifetime value. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Loyalty team to help solve additional business problems using analytics and insights, including marketing post-campaign analyses, audience segmentation, engagement, co-brand credit card performance, etc.
  • Develop dashboards using Tableau to analyze customer behaviour, loyalty program usage patterns, and overall performance metrics for the VIPorter program.
  • Design SQL queries that sift through large amounts of data in the data warehouse to extract critical information that meets business needs.
  • Validate data quality and look for ways to automate recurring processes.
  • Proactively explore the data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Actively participate in Porters Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote The Company Safety Policy.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics and/or business intelligence.
  • Bachelors degree in technology or business fields.
  • Experience in creating intuitive data visualizations using tools such as Tableau.
  • Experience translating data and insights into a simple and visualized story/presentations for senior and executive audiences
  • Possess strong working knowledge of SQL to query and analyze large datasets.
  • Loyalty program / customer insights experience an asset
  • Airline experience an asset.
  • Ability to wrangle data programmatically (using Python or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Ability to convey complex ideas to a diverse audience.
  • Highly proactive, possess advanced problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills.
