Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have a 6 months contract opportunity for a Analyst IT Support Retail/Pharmacy. This role can be based out of one our main offices including: Stellarton, NS; Mississauga, ON. Calgary, AB.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support for IT incidents, requests, and changes within defined SLAs.
Troubleshoot hardware, operating systems, and network issues; develop support documentation.
Ensure compliance with IT security policies and quality standards.
Manage hardware lifecycle (Windows Servers, end points, peripherals) and operating systems.
Plan, test, and deploy new technologies to Pharmacies
Execute deployment plans for hardware and software, including after-hours support.
Support IT activities for pharmacy openings, renovations, and closures (Coordinate on site installation of Server hardware, end points and peripherals.)
Coordinate shipping, asset tracking, and maintain accurate documentation.
Report status updates and maintain knowledge base accuracy.
Evaluate and implement process improvements for efficiency.
Mentor team members and act as a technical resource.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
College diploma or university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
2-3 years of experience in IT administration or technical support; retail IT experience is an asset.
Experience coordinating small-scale IT projects considered an advantage.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Studio, Windows Server OS, PowerShell, SCCM, Active Directory, and enterprise networking.
Knowledge of remote patching, hardware lifecycle management, and troubleshooting methodologies.
Ability to develop and interpret technical documentation.
