How will you create an impact?

We are currently seeking to hire an Analyst for our Genetic Toxicology team located in Senneville (West of Montreal).

The Genetic Toxicology Department mainly conducts studies that evaluate the genotoxic and mutagenic potential of drugs at the early stages of drug discovery.

Work Schedule & Salary:
  • Starting salary rate of $19.50/HR.

What will you work on?

Working in our newly renovated laboratories, you will perform sample analysis work using a variety of techniques such as Bacterial Mutation Test (BMT), Chromosome Aberration Test (CAT), in vitro Micronucleus (IVM), Mammalian Cell Mutation Test (MCM), Micronucleus Test (MNT) and Comet Assay, Cytotoxicity Test by Mode of Action Assay (MOA), and 3D Skin Assay Test. You will also perform method development and validation of new assays; all in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a motivated individual with either a DEC in Science or a BAC in Science (Genetics, Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent) who works with precision and strives for quality work. A team player with a collaborative and positive attitude who can work autonomously and thrive in a dynamic environment. Must be comfortable working under English conditions, bilingualism is an asset.

This position is of a physical nature and requires you to stand for an extended period of time, handle laboratory instruments, and lift on occasion up to 10kg. Additionally, you must be vaccinated (or will be vaccinated upon being hired) against Hepatitis B.
