Leader Name: Manager, Processing Operations

As ATB's next Analyst I,Operations Processing, you will report to the Operations Processing Manager. This Analyst I role provides primary support to partners in ATB Wealth in processing transactions on Registered Plans through the busy season (December to early March), with training during the month of November.

An Analyst I effectively manages their time in an independent fashion, monitors and actions multiple queues while working with challenging deadlines, and adhering to shifting regulatory controls.

To be successful in this role, you will accurately process transactions in a fast paced environment. You will proactively recognize potential issues and and assist with solutions as needed to ensure work is completed for clients, understanding time commitments.

Analyst I Accountabilities:

  • Accurately review and process requests that come through various queues, such as RSP and TFSA contributions; demonstrate ability to be agile and process a variety of requests that come through various platforms
  • Ability to review and process in a variety of areas in relation to registered plan requests.
  • Working in a fast paced environment, managing requests both professionally and accurately
  • Able to work independently, collaborate with ATB Wealth colleagues and use resources to problem solve
  • Ability to understand and relate the processing picture to the client story and exceed client expectations in processing
  • Uses good judgment and apply critical thinking skills to make decisions within recognized limits
  • Comfortable in utilizing technology to help manage and efficiently deliver client solutions and proactive in discovering efficiencies for the department
  • Excellent time management skills, able to prioritize requests and working within limited time frames
  • Excellent communication, both verbal, written and through video conferencing with internal partners
Requirements:
  • Post secondary education or diploma preferred
  • Experience within the Securities Industry or IIROC licensed firm preferred
  • Comfortable with the language and time frames associated with securities processing
  • Strong Knowledge of investment industry policies
  • Previous client service experience is beneficial
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly professional team player
  • Strong technical proficiencies, including using G-Suite programs and ability to quickly learn various other programs related to the Investment Industry
