As ATB\xe2\x80\x99s next Analyst II, Operations Processing - Plan Administration Team member, you will be providing primary support to partners in ATB Wealth in registered accounts transaction processing. Responsibilities may include administering activities ranging from registered account transaction processing, group wealth services transaction processing, advisory services inquiries, and monthly compliance reporting. The Analyst II must effectively manage time in an independent fashion, monitor and action multiple queues while keeping in mind the various Service Level Agreements and adhering to regulatory controls. This role requires daily queue oversight to ensure Service Level Agreements are achieved. It must foresee when there will be time constraint issues and proactively assist with the reallocation of resources as needed to ensure work is completed according to the stated time commitments. This role may be required to be the point of contact for all rush requests or those requiring escalation, which may then require reorganizing of resources.

You will find success based on your ability to:

  • Accurately review and process requests that come through various queues.
  • Demonstrate ability to be agile and process a variety of requests that come through various platforms.
  • Ability to review and process in a variety of areas in registered plan transaction requests including contributions, deregistrations, RIF payments, in-kind contributions/deregistrations, pension unlocking and group contributions.
  • Work in a fast paced environment, managing cyclical requests both professionally and accurately.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate with ATB Wealth colleagues and use resources to problem solve first-level technical issues
  • Ability to understand and relate the processing picture to the client story and exceed client expectations in processing.
  • Ability to apply good judgment and critical thinking skills to make decisions within recognized constraints.
  • Accurately interpret and investigate requests from multiple sources, channels, and systems, assess risk to ATB and resolve or reject the incoming requests while effectively communicating the result to the requestor in a professional manner.
  • Ability to identify and report on trends and recurring issues.
  • Work independently and reference regulations, laws and ATB Securities Inc. policies to help guide actions.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable legislation, policy and guidelines related to requests.
  • Proficient in utilizing technology to help manage and efficiently deliver client solutions.
  • Innovator of efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Manage time effectively with ability to prioritize requests and work within established time frames
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills including through video conferencing and listening skills with both internal and external partners
  • Ability to provide on the spot coaching/updates to ATB Wealth partners if any issues are identified specific to a request
Requirements

As the ideal candidate you possess:
  • Post secondary education or diploma preferred
  • Experience within the Securities Industry or IIROC licensed firm
  • Comfort with the language and time frames associated with securities processing
  • Strong knowledge of investment industry policies
  • Previous client service experience is beneficial
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of professionalism and team player
  • Strong technical proficiencies, including using G-Suite programs and ability to quickly learn various other programs related to the Investment Industry
