Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Support SGS manager with all aspects of private label offshore procurement and inventory management
• Inventory management is inclusive of purchase order placement ; monitoring service levels and reacting to regional supply and demand
• Negotiate costing and logistics with offshore suppliers
• Onboard and complete set-up process with new suppliers
• Manage seasonal bookings/crop buys and contract agreements
• Liase with category merchants on forecast projections
• Monitor variances between demand and forecasts, and action discrepancies accordingly
• Work cross functionally with Procurement Specialists to plan and schedule shipments
• Liaise with third-party logistics providers such as the Consolidation Center, buying agents, international freight forwarders, and customs broker to ensure customs release are done in a timely manner
• Audit pricing and quantities
• Oversee and replenish all Sobeys Global Sourcing purchasing and scheduling activity
• Primary SAP user for replenishment/buying
• Validate regional costs
• Reconcile shipping discrepancies and invoices as required
• Manage seasonal bookings and contract agreements
• Develop required reporting in Excel, BW or Access
• Support all business units through inventory management and achievement of service level goals
• Partner with procurement specialists, category merchants and suppliers with on time delivery of key programs and shipments
• Work closely with 3 PLs (WHS and transport) to ensure seamless delivery

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Inventory Analylsis and communication
• Experience with ERP systems and basic report development
• Two years replenishment within a retail grocery or private label environment
• CITT, CPIM or PMAC designation or currently pursuing is preferred
• Working knowledge of SAP, AWR and BW is preferred

The salary range for this position in [British Columbia] is [$60,666K - $79,625K per year]. We will consider factors such as your working location, work experience and skills as well as internal equity, and market conditions to ensure that you are paid fairly and competitively.
