We are recruiting for an Analyst role in the Exposure, Leverage and Liquidity Management (ELLM) group within the Total Fund Management (TFM) department. Working in partnership with other groups in TFM and other departments within the fund, the ELLM group is responsible for delivering Total Fund exposures through the management of the Balancing Portfolios, monitoring and managing the Fund\'s liquidity and leverage position, and maintaining the total Fund positioning against management and board limits.

The key responsibilities of this role will include, but will not be limited to:
  • Under the guidance of senior team members, play an active role in the day-to-day management of the Fund\'s cross-asset Balancing Portfolios including equities, fixed income, credit, and currencies.
  • Stay abreast of critical market events and help senior team members analyze the impact on Total Fund Exposures.
  • Contribute to the design and development of analytic enhancements to the Fund\'s Balancing Portfolios management and attribution.
  • Analyze model outputs across different scenarios and market/portfolio inputs to ensure reasonability.
  • Assist in preparing presentation materials and presenting investment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Research and Technology & Data teams to help design and implement enhancements to the portfolio management platform.
Qualifications
  • Strong and demonstrated interest in finance/investment management/capital markets
  • General knowledge of capital markets (e.g., equities, fixed income, FX, credit). Derivatives knowledge/experience is a plus.
  • Experience with one or more programming languages (such as Python, R, VBA, Matlab, C++/Java).
  • Knowledge of basic linear algebra and/or statistics is a plus.
  • The team works in a dynamic interactive environment which requires the candidate to have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exhibits intellectual curiosity and takes initiative.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
