He/she is expected to work as part of team that is customer focused and thrive in a fast-paced working environment that requires open & effective communication between multiple disciplines.AccountabilitiesFabricate aluminum / metal products to specifications from fabrication tickets, shop drawings and elevation drawings, including layout, measurement, cutouts, fabrication.
Accurately read tape measures, safely cut aluminum, safely use power tools (saws, drills, punches, etc.) and hand tools
Maintain fabrication and safety equipment.
Further develop mechanical skills, learn new techniques and remain current with product requirements.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Other projects and duties assigned, including occasional driving of company vehicles for work-related activities.EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
Technical apprenticeship would be an advantage.Experience / Capabilities2+ years of experience
Must be able to accurately read tape measures.
Must have tool experience (saws, grinder, power tools, etc.)
Must be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds.
Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English.
Ability to work in a team and stand-alone environment.
Able to work in a fast-moving environment.
Ability to handle several projects simultaneously with interruptions.
Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
Must have reliable transportation and be on time to work each day.
