POSITION OVERVIEW
As part of BDC's digital transformation, we are looking for candidates who are passionate with innovation and wish to contribute to the development of BDC's financing services and others offered to our clients via our digital channels. Our objective is to provide an intuitive self-service and omnichannel client experience. The development of our digital services is based on automation, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence in an agile delivery mode. Selected candidates will join a squad responsible to deliver specific functionalities within a product team.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
Opportunity analysis, design, document, configure, develop, test and deliver the appropriate technical solutions (Mostly on Genesys plateform) based on information architecture, functional and non-functional requirements
Synthetise a global vision of the system, identify challenges and propose alternatives to users
Collaborate with various IT Specialist and business representative in order to understand complexities and impacts of the proposed solutions
Produce plans, specifications, user stories, acceptance criterias and produce technical documentation supporting IT operations
Participate in the change management strategy for maximum user adoption and train supporting teams
Watch Genesys solution Roadmap, new functionalities, evaluate impact and risk and proceed with recommendations
Perfect and ensure the proper execution of unit tests and/or tests automation. Will flag bugs prior to delivering the functionalities to Quality Assurance
Participate in the implementation in various environments (test and production)
Adapt to changing technology, learning and applying new methods for achieving the organization's goals
Supplies second-level technical support in order to solve production problems and provide support according to established service levels
Monitor and manage the performance of the solutions
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years in IT
Experience with Genesys solution or similar solutions
Experience in programming Java or similar
Experience with Cloud operating environments (An asset)
Knowledge of Contact Center processes (An asset)
Knowledge of / practical experience with development/deployment best practices and methodology
Strong analysis, documentation and problem-solving skills
Experience with user support in a post deployment phase of a solution
Ability to maintain a trusted relationship with business partners
Proven leadership and organizational skills, and strong sense of autonomy and initiative
Practical experience in task estimates
Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server
Experience with project delivery in agile mode (DAD, Scrum, Kanban)
Fully bilingual (English and French) and excellent oral and written communication skills
