THE ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized individual to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team as an Analyst, Data & Analytics Prioritization. As the liaison between the Data & Analytics (D&A) team and the rest of the organization, this role is pivotal in effectively prioritizing D&A workstreams to maximize value for the business. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate across departments, drive a data-driven culture, and contribute to the overall growth of the organization.

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL DO

• Request Management: Intake and review the necessary documentation for D&A project requests. Maintain accurately updated D&A project portfolio and ensure alignment on incoming requests with D&A and business stakeholders through effective communication.
• Request Prioritization: Evaluate incoming requests based on their financial and strategic implications. Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to allocate resources effectively, balancing urgency of requests, potential business impact, and alignment with company strategy.
• Project Tracking: Track the progress of Data & Analytics projects from initiation to completion. Monitor timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Project Updates: Provide high quality status updates to the business on a regular basis. Prepare project portfolio overview, status dashboards and financial overview (with FP&A) for decision support and project execution. Follow-up on benefit realization on applicable projects.
• Communication and Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. Serve as a bridge between business and D&A teams, ensuring clear communication and expectations.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance data-related processes, tools, and workflows. Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to drive innovation and efficiency improvements.

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL NEED

Education :

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in data science, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience :

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in project coordination/management, data analytics, financial planning and analysis, business analysis, or related roles.

Knowledge and skills:

• Project Management: Proven track record of managing projects, including coordinating resources and ensuring timely delivery of results.
• Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Interpersonal Skills: Adept at building and nurturing relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Data Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Smartsheet. Basic knowledge of data concepts, analytics tools, and visualization platforms (e.g., SQL, Power BI).
• Financial Acumen: Good understanding of finance and accounting principles, including financial modeling, forecasting and accounting concepts. Experience with financial planning and consolidation tools an asset (e.g. Longview, PDI, JDE).

Language skills:

• Bilingualism is mandatory (French and English) in both writing and speaking.
