The Analyst will be responsible for accurately reviewing, analyzing and finalizing events for our investment advisors and underlying clients. You will also be required to support additional tasks within the Plans Communications team as needed. Corporate Actions (Capital Markets Operations) is responsible for handling high dollar and risk transactions that are complex in nature with multiple inputs from advisors, traders, external brokers, transfer agents and depositories on tight deadlines without direct supervision. This department at CIBC helps provide integrated capital markets products, investment banking advisory services, corporate lending and top-ranked research to corporate, government and institutional clients around the world.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Effectively communicates with team members and business partners to ensure clear communication.Paying Attention to Detail - Reconcile high dollar and risk transactions prior to election, ensure elections are accurate across multiple custodians and ensuring the payment is made in an accurately and timely manner. Analyze and reconcile data to ensure data integrity on client accounts, control accounts, submissions to depositories, and submissions to transfer agents. Complete all reconciliation activities and provide regular regulatory reporting to management team and control groups as requested ensuring accuracy of informationBeing Analytical - Effectively manage complex issues that require in depth analysis in order to identify the root cause of the issue and to find an optimal solution for our client in a timely and accurate manner.Effective Time Management - Prioritize the work to be done in order to meet tight market deadlines or service level agreements. Ensure all requests are received and processed in accordance to appropriate rules, regulations or procedures to meet service level agreements and customer satisfaction.Relationship Building - Collaborate with operations client service departments and external/internal business partners in order to identify service gaps and find appropriate solutions to solve them.Who You AreYou\xe2\x80\x99re passionate about the securities market and a fast paced environment.
