Alcedio Capital Inc. and subsidiaries ("Alcedio") are seeking to hire up to two roles (Analyst and/or Associate) within the Capital Markets division, with opportunities for selective exposure to other business lines. Alcedio is a diversified financial firm operating across two core verticals: Capital Markets and Direct Investments. Our Capital Markets group is active across North America (U.S., Canada, and Mexico) and works across a broad range of industries. Mandates include M&A, as well as sourcing and structuring capital solutions for a client base that is primarily comprised of core mid-market private companies and Family Offices. The Analyst/Associate will work closely with senior management on live mandates, playing an active role throughout transaction lifecycle. The role offers significant client interaction and direct exposure to institutional funds and private capital providers.
Role and Responsibilities
As an Analyst / Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the Capital Markets team by delivering high-quality execution support across a range of mandates. Responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining dynamic financial models with valuation, scenario, and sensitivity analyses (typically from scratch, deal dependent).
Preparing and reviewing client materials including presentations, pitchbooks, teasers, and data room documentation.
Conducting industry research and financial analysis to support mandates.
Developing and defending recommendations for capital raising, M&A, valuations, and private equity/debt transactions.
Performing due diligence on prospective clients, opportunities, and Alcedio's direct investments.
Supporting portfolio companies and clients through project evaluations, document preparation, and strategic review.
Engaging across diverse industries including, but not limited to, power, oil and gas, consumer goods, real estate, industrials, and technology.
Occasional travel across North America (Canada, U.S., and Mexico).
Contributing to ad-hoc projects and firmwide initiatives as required.
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative fields.
Strong foundation in finance and business, with relevant quantitative experience.
Demonstrated ability to build and interpret detailed financial models and valuation analyses.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (minimum 2 years of direct experience).
Exposure to financial research and familiarity with diverse research tools.
Greater depth of experience will be expected for candidates at the Associate level.
