Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Beverage Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests and ensuring their satisfaction. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Duties:
- Buffet setup and tear down
- Serving buffet guests and a la carte.
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and serve beverages promptly and accurately
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items
- Maintain knowledge of all available beverages, including specials and promotions
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes
- Assist with food service as needed
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional guest service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or the food service industry is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to upsell and promote additional items to enhance the guest experience
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices and procedures
