Service Technician Company Description Fancy Windows Mfg. Inc. is a 100% Canadian manufacturer and supplier of windows and doors. Our customers include builders, architects, and contractors - from new constructions to the regular household. We aimed towards becoming the leading window manufacturer with quality and efficient service. We require an Aluminum Windows Production Supervisor.Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Layout, fabricate, assemble, and caulk aluminum curtainwall, storefronts, windows, doors, etc
• Measure, cut, and drill aluminum extrusions
• Operate machines and tools as needed
• Inspect aluminum for various quality flaws
• Perform other duties as required Qualifications and Skills
• Be able to read shop and fabrication drawings
• Be able to read metric and imperial tape measures Requirements
• Basic tools
• Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Well organized and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills; written and verbal
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently, and able to meet service call deadlines
• Must be physically capable of climbing ladders up to 40 feet, working off scaffolding, lifting and carrying up to 50lbs

Qualification

• Industry experience required for Curtain Wall, Storefront, Glass, Windows, Doors, Entrances
• Strong candidates will have some educational certification in Project Management
• Previous coordinator or supervisor experience
• Solid understanding of blueprints and use of PDF viewers like Bluebeam for marking up drawings for stakeholders
• AutoCAD experience & knowledge are not mandatory but would be an asset.
• Proficient use of hand tools including; tape measure, level, saws, drills, etc.
• Problem-solving ability and ability to handle stressful situations.
• Sense of direction with the ability to use navigation systems, self-motivated, and mechanically inclined.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Other skills and qualifications:

• Work experience in the windows and door manufacturing industry would be considered an asset.
