YOUR ROLE

Reporting directly to the Allocation Manager, the Allocation Analyst works closely with Buying, Planning, Sales & Operations. Ensures optimal inventory levels at all times in all stores in order to maximize sales and profitability.

Responsibilities

Distribute new orders of merchandise to a chain of stores following best business practices Manage inventory assuring that optimal levels of inventory are respected across the stores Prepare and analyse weekly performance and understand needs of different stores for different product categories Support buying decisions related to product selection based on sales volume, location, capacity, and trends Elaborate assortment plans quantities for future seasons Assess seasonally product performance by size, and build sizes curves according to divisional requirements Prepare and analyze inventory reports at the product and store level at the end of each season and perform recalls where and when needed Build strong relationships with buyers and the Sales & Operations' team

College degree (A.E.C. or D.E.C.) in related field 0-3 years of relevant experience A minimum 1 year of distribution experience (an asset) Excellent analytical and mathematical skills Established Excel skills Strong communication, time management, and team work skills A passion for retail fashion and current trends
