Job Summary


We are seeking skilled Aircraft Mechanics to join our team in ensuring the safety, reliability, and optimal performance of our fleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft maintenance with a minimum of 5 years experience, proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems, and experience working with various tools and schematics. This role involves performing inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks on aircraft to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Dash 8 experience would be considered an asset.

Duties



Conduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on aircraft components and systems Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues using schematics, CAD drawings, and diagnostic tools Perform repairs and replacements of parts utilizing hand tools, power tools, and other specialized tools Assemble aircraft parts and systems following technical specifications and schematics Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities Assist with heavy lifting and component installation during maintenance procedures Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulatory guidelines Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and improve maintenance processes

Experience



Proven mechanic experience within the aerospace or manufacturing industry Knowledge of electrical systems, avionics, and mechanical components of aircraft Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, calipers, schematics, Experience reading technical drawings such as schematics and wiring diagrams Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during maintenance tasks Prior experience with assembly processes in a manufacturing or aerospace environment is preferred
This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where precision, safety, and technical expertise are paramount. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of aircraft safety. Contract offered in 3 month intervals with ongoing work projected for years. Flights, accommodation and rental car provided. Daily perdiem of $50 provided after 8 hour shift.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 50 per week

Work Location: In person
