Licensed Aircraft Structures Mechanic - Air Spray Ltd. (Red Deer, AB)

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a

Licensed Aircraft Structures Mechanic (AME-S)

to join our Red Deer maintenance team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, motivated, and takes pride in high-quality structural work. You will play a critical role in supporting ongoing fleet maintenance, conversion projects, and proprietary aircraft programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform structural repairs, modifications, and installations in accordance with CARS and manufacturer specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals. Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal and composite components. Inspect and document completed work to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, and production teams to meet project deadlines. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

Valid

Transport Canada AME-S license

(Structures). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in heavy aircraft maintenance or modification. Experience with legacy and/or large aircraft (e.g., Electra, CL-215/415, BAe-146) considered an asset. Strong knowledge of aircraft structural systems, corrosion repair, and composite techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
