Review and provide disposition to assigned Technical Problem Reports having Reliability and Maintainability implications.
Develop Logistic Support Analysis Record (LSAR) (Electronic Maintenance Task/plan data) in support of the publications update cycle and implement within the LSAR database.
Support DND during implementation of Logistic Support Analysis Record changes within the Electronic Record Keeping System.
Identify and implement opportunities for improvement with the LSAR data.
Work with LM provisioning to resolve any identified Master Material Record issues.
Monitor and analyze failure data originating from the Canada CC-130J fleet to identify failure causes and identify trends.
Identify and propose changes to the maintenance program and publications leading to improvements in reliability and maintainability.
Coordinate reliability reviews with internal stakeholders.
Identify design change opportunities resulting in increased reliability and maintainability.
Prepare business case analysis and present improvement opportunities to the CC-130J In-Service Support (ISS) leadership.
Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on any issues related to Logistic Support Analysis, reliability, or maintainability.
Maintain the CC-130J Logistic Support Analysis Support Plan and associated Standard Operating Procedures.
Develop and operationalize annual objectives for the ISS Logistic Support Analysis Support System, and brief progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Support diagnostic site visits.
Lead projects spanning multiple support systems.
What you bring to the role
Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5-8 years of professional experience; or 3-5 years of experience required with a related Master\'s degree;
Knowledge of reliability engineering principles;
Demonstrated leadership, planning, and organizational skills;
Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with other internal and customer counterparts, both verbally and in writing;
Demonstrated ability to understand and report program or technical issues, and develop and propose solutions;
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal management support.
Additional skills desired for the role
Knowledge of aviation systems and maintenance;
Reliability and Maintainability experience;
Experience with identification and tracking of hardware, RMA, and performance metrics;
Experience with in-service support programs or DND programs;
Experience with aircraft operations.
