Job Description
IntroductionWe are looking for a driven, full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer "M1" who is a Licensed Mechanic with experience in small aircraft. The AME is responsible for conducting planned and unplanned maintenance on aircrafts and requires an M1 license to be successful.Opportunities in Parry Sound/Muskoka and Burlington.Position OverviewThis position is a full-time, permanent position with working schedule of 40 hours per week with weekend scheduling. Overtime is available.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Conducting planned and unplanned maintenance procedures on our fleet of aircraft in accordance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations and company procedures
- Perform aircraft inspections, including airframe structures, engines and components
- Ensure operating and maintenance procedures comply with industry and internal regulations and quality standards
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, etc.
- Maintaining an organized, clean and safe hangar environmentQUALIFICATIONS- Valid Transport Canada AME M1 license
- Experience working on general aviation M1 aircraft and systems
- Available to work weekends
- Computer proficiency
- Knowledge in CARs regulations
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skillsJob Type: Full-time
