The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and results oriented with a focus on safety and professionalism. In addition to a solid foundation of experience and training the candidate must have a sound knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (C.A.R.s).

Contract Positions: Fixed and regular rotations. Hangar based. Field Work/Travel during summer fire season and Fall/Winter work. Working in different weather conditions.

Type training will be provided to otherwise qualified AME's

Duties of this position:

Working with the Director of Maintenance the AME will be responsible to;

- Maintain an effective program of aircraft maintenance and servicing.

- Follow an effective Quality Assurance program.

- Incorporate the existing SMS program in all aspects of the department.

- Carry out regular and heavy maintenance functions as required.

- Follow a regular schedule of maintenance training and skill development.

- Maintain a professional, positive and safe work environment.
