Air Technician *** Must be local to BonnyvilleTSS Total Safety Services is currently hiring Air Technicians for short and long-term positions within the Bonnyville area and throughout Alberta. We are seeking candidates with previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry. Safety experience is an asset, however, TSS offers a comprehensive training program - all experience levels are welcome to apply.Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operate breathing air trailer as per Total Safety's Safe Work Procedures and supply breathing air to workers in hazardous environments;

• Rig in / rig out breathing air trailer as per Total Safety's Safe Work Procedures;

• Provide support to ensure that all on-site personnel work in a safe manner and comply with company and regulatory/legislative requirements for Occupational Health & Safety;

• Follow and be an advocate for all rules, policies and procedures as per the client's health and safety program, Total Safety's HSE program, and all other applicable legislation;

• Intervene in unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and take appropriate action to influence safe behaviors and to create a safe working environment;

• Champion Total Safety's safety culture and safe work practices.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Demonstrated interpersonal skills

• Strong observational and listening skills

• Verbal and written proficiency in English

Required Qualifications/Experience: H2S Alive - Must be in class - Research online for any Energy Safety Canada approved safety training provider. https://www.energysafetycanada.com/ Standard First Aid Level C (St John's or Red Cross) Common Safety Orientation (CSO) Available online through Energy Safety Canada https://www.energysafetycanada.com/ Confined Space Entry and Monitor - Must be approved by Energy Safety Canada -https://www.energysafetycanada.com/ See link for approved training providers Direct field safety or related experience within the Oil & Gas industry is a strong assetAdditional Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract

• Ability to pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing

• Willing to work outdoors, work an irregular schedule (including night shifts and weekends), and travel to various client sites throughout Alberta

• Must be capable of working with limited supervision and able to exercise initiative and sound judgement
