This is a unique dual-role position combining
AI/robotics development
with
day-to-day support at Lemmer
. You'll gain hands-on exposure to AI datasets, defect detection workflows, robotic test rigs, and industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. ZeroG - AI, Robotics & Computer Vision Support
Capture images and videos of
rust, cracks, scratches, and metal surface defects
for dataset creation
Organize and maintain image datasets used for AI model training
Label, validate, and quality-check defect annotations (rust, cracks, corrosion patterns, etc.)
Assist with running basic computer vision tests and experiments (training provided)
Help set up and operate cameras, lighting, Raspberry Pi units, and BAWA-786 test rigs
Support robotic testing such as movement tests, surface detection, and spray activation trials
Document results, record observations, and maintain experiment logs
Assist in prototype setup, troubleshooting, and iterative improvement
2. Lemmer - Inside Sales & Customer Service
Answer customer phone calls and emails
Provide product information and prepare quotes
Process orders and follow up on inquiries
Maintain accurate customer notes and sales records
Coordinate with technical staff for equipment questions
3. Lemmer - Warehouse & Operational Support
Assist with packing orders, receiving shipments, and managing inventory
Coordinate with warehouse and technical teams for accurate order fulfillment
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Support day-to-day operations as needed
Qualifications
Strong communication skills (phone and email)
Interest in AI, robotics, and hands-on technical work
Comfortable learning new software tools (annotation tools, image organization, basic CV scripts)
Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
Willingness to help in the warehouse as needed
Prior customer service, sales, warehouse, or technical experience is an asset
AI experience is required.
