ResponsabilitesDevelopper de nouveaux modeles d'apprentissage automatique et de nouvelles techniques d'IA Diriger des projets de recherche au sein d'une equipe internationale Passer en revue la litterature pertinente en matiere d'IA/d'apprentissage automatique afin d'identifier les methodes, technologies et meilleures pratiques emergentes Explorer de nouvelles sources de donnees et decouvrir des techniques permettant de tirer le meilleur parti des donnees

Qualifications minimales Master ou doctoratdans un domaine lie a l'IA/l'apprentissage automatique, tel que : Informatique, mathematiques, statistiques, physique, linguistique, genie mecanique, architecture ou disciplines connexes Solide experience dans l'application des techniques d'apprentissage profond (y compris la mise en oeuvre d'architectures personnalisees, l'optimisation des performances des modeles*, le developpement de nouvelles fonctions de perte et le deploiement de solutions pretes a la production)
Connaissance des methodes statistiques pour l'apprentissage automatique(par exemple, methodes bayesiennes, HMM, modeles graphiques, reduction de dimension, regroupement, classification, techniques de regression, etc. Bonne connaissance de PyTorch, TensorFlow*, JAX ou de frameworks similaires
Solides competences en codage Python

Position Overview
As an AI Research Scientist at Autodesk Research, you will be doing fundamental and applied research that will help our customers imagine, design, and make a better world.
We are a team of scientists, researchers, engineers, and designers working together on projects that range from learning-based design systems, computer vision, graphics, robotics, human-computer interaction, sustainability, simulation, manufacturing, architectural design and construction.
This role will report to a Manager of Research Science in the AI Lab.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop new ML models and AI techniques Lead on research projects within a global team Review relevant AI/ML literature to identify emerging methods, technologies, and best practices Explore new data sources and discover techniques for best leveraging data

Minimum Qualifications A Master's or PhDin a field related to AI/ML such as: Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Linguistics, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or related disciplines Strong background applying Deep Learning techniques (including implementing custom architectures, optimizing modelperformance, developing novel loss functions, and deploying production-ready solutions) Familiarity in statistical methods for Machine Learning(e.g. Bayesian methods, HMMs, graphical models, dimension reduction, clustering, classification, regression techniques, etc.) Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow*, JAX or similar frameworks
Strong coding abilities in Python

Preferred QualificationsExperience in the Architecture, Engineering, and/or Construction domains, including expertise with industry-specific data formats (e.g., BIM models, IFC files, AEC Contract Documents and Drawings such as Drawing Sets, Specifications, or Shop Drawings) Knowledge of structured data representation and management in AEC workflows (building information modeling, structural specifications, project documentation) LLMs and Natural Language Processing Multi-modaldeep learning and/or information retrieval Publication track record in machine learningconferences and/or journals Significant post-graduate research experience, or 5 or greater years of work experience (actual job title/position will be commensurate to experience)

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $124,300 and $214,500. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
