We're expanding our operational capabilities to better support fellow financial advisors in Canada. We need an experienced project management professional to lead initiatives that optimize advisor workflows, enhance client service delivery, and drive practice growth across organizations using AI integration.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented, and client-focusedProject Manager to spearhead the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions into financial advisory practices. This role will start on a part-time contractual basis, with the clear potential to transition into a full-time position for the right candidate.
This is a unique opportunity to lead transformative projects from end-to-end, initially focusing on internal systems and workflows, with an exciting pathway to managing similar integrations for our clients. You'll work closely with our dedicated AI specialist and internal teams to implement AI-powered workflows, chatbots, marketing automation, and integrate tools like Calendy and other specialized financial AI applications such as Jump, FP Alpha, Advisory Ai, Tendi. Your success will be measured by seamless implementations, strong stakeholder collaboration, and tangible improvements in efficiency and client engagement. This role requires in-person collaboration with our team and clients, necessitating a local presence in the Lower Mainland of Vancouver and flexibility for travel within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Internal AI Integration:
Project manage the end-to-end in-person implementation of AI tools and solutions into our core financial practice, including:
Optimizing internal workflows with AI.
Integrating chatbots for client communication and internal support.
Leveraging AI for enhanced marketing strategies.
Seamless integration of client experience and financial AI tools
Project Management Excellence:
Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful, on-time, and within-scope project delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with our internal AI specialist, financial advisors, and our operations team.
Communications:
Effectively communicate project status, risks, and changes to all stakeholders, including senior management. Possibly onboard new clients.
Client Project Management (Future):
Upon successful internal integration, transition to managing AI integration projects directly with our financial advisory clients, guiding them through their own digital transformation journeys. This will involve on-site meetings, presentations and on-going consulting.
Problem-Solving:
Proactively identify potential client issues and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
Presentations:
Develop and deliver clear, compelling presentations to diverse audiences, including internal teams and external clients, on project progress, proposed solutions, and strategic recommendations.
Who You Are (Ideally):
An Experienced Project Manager:
3+ years of progressive experience in technology project management, with a strong emphasis on system integration and implementation.
Tech-Savvy Integrator:
Proven ability to integrate various software platforms and digital tools. Experience with CRM, marketing automation, or financial technology is a significant advantage.
Exceptional Communicator & Presenter:
Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Demonstrated ability to create and deliver impactful presentations.
Must be fluent in English and proficient in communication for North American business practices.
Relationship Builder:
Demonstrated ability to build strong rapport, influence stakeholders, and manage expectations, even in challenging situations.
Results-Driven & Organized:
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and focused on delivering tangible outcomes.
Proactive & Autonomous:
A self-starter who can take initiative, identify needs, and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
Adaptable:
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and embracing new technologies.
Local & Flexible:
Must reside in the
Lower Mainland of Vancouver, BC
, and possess reliable transportation to travel for in-person client and team meetings. Travel outside the Lower Mainland might be needed in the future.
Ideal Qualifications:
Project Management experience, Information Technology, or a related field.
PMP or other relevant project management certifications (e.g., CSM, CAPM) an asset.
Demonstrable experience managing technology implementation projects from conception to completion.
Experience in the financial services sector or a highly regulated industry is an asset.
Familiarity with AI concepts, chatbots, or machine learning tools is a plus, but not required as an AI specialist will support.
