Part-Time AI Developer

20-80 hours per month

Compensation:

$20/hr + performance bonuses + commissions

About the Role

SI Sales is hiring

2-3 part-time AI Automation Specialists

to support internal and client projects and internal initiatives. We value curiosity, adaptability, and strong work ethic.

This role combines

paid AI training (earn while you learn)

with

flexible project-based work

. Top performers will have the opportunity to transition into

full-time salaried roles

with leadership potential.

The role includes weekly in-person training/ team meetings in Niagara, with mandatory attendance. Most other work is remote.

What We're Looking For

Candidates should bring strength in 3-4 of these areas:

Automation & Workflow Orchestration

- hands-on with

n8n

, Zapier, Make (Integromat), Airflow, or Node-RED for building scalable automations

AI Development & APIs

- working with

OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face

, Pinecone/Weaviate (vector DBs), or other LLM/ML frameworks

Coding & Scripting

- proficiency in

Python

and/or

JavaScript/TypeScript

(bonus: Node.js, Go, or Rust) for building custom integrations and data pipelines

Data Engineering

- experience with

SQL/noSQL

, REST/GraphQL APIs, JSON handling, and ETL workflows

Cloud & DevOps

- familiarity with

AWS, GCP, or Azure

for deploying automation solutions, containerization (Docker), or serverless functions

Industry Application

- ability to adapt solutions to verticals like SaaS, e-commerce, manufacturing, or nonprofits
Plus:
