Now Hiring Agriculture Applicator Operator -A leading agricultural retailer serving local producers across Ontario we are recruiting for an Agriculture Applicator Operator to join their team on a year round basis.This position will be located in Ayr and is a year round opportunity, but if this location is not of interest, we still would like to chat with you.As the Agriculture Applicator Operator you will be the primary operator, driver and applicator of specialized equipment. May also be responsible for driving flotation, sprayers, delivery equipment, or forklifts seasonally.Details:

• Operate and maintain equipment such as custom application equipment, an assigned vehicle.
• Practice safe driving techniques.
• Warehouse duties as required.
• Work in processing areas as required.
• Mix and apply crop inputs to fields.
• Follow all pesticide labels.
• Maintain records as required.
• Perform daily safety checks.
• Load and unload containers, pallets on trucks trailers or rail cars by forklift.
• Perform maintenance on assigned vehicles.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Blend fertilizer, weigh tanks, assist in inventory counting.
• Ensure all vouchers and invoices are tracked and completed.
• Completes all assigned record keeping.
• Set up material handling for blending, manufacturing and storage.
• Performs a combination of yard work.

Requirements:

• Must have DZ License
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Possess or be able to obtain current Ag Exterminator License, and Nutrient Technician License.
• Valid Drivers License
• Provide drivers abstract with good history
• Demonstrate safe driving techniques.
• Able to read maps, bills of ladings and follow delivery instructions.
• Demonstrate basic math skills.
• Able to work independently but also in a team.
• Understand basic computer skills.
