The Summer Research Technician term position will allow individuals to explore a career path in agricultural research. Work as part of a team and independently while assisting Research Associates establish and maintain small plot research trials. During this term individuals will have the opportunity to operate plot equipment (small tractors, implements, sprayers, etc.) and work in the field to collect data on the field trials.

Qualifications:
Valid driver's license
Post-secondary students or non-students
Strong communication skills and detail-oriented
Ability to work extended hours as required
Assets:
Any type of previous research or farm experience (include on
your application)
Enrolled in or completion of science-based programs
Comfortable working with small plot equipment, including tractor, seeder, sprayer and combine
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
