In collaboration with LabEau-Air-Sol.DescriptionThe agricultural sampler is a key position to successfully obtain the analysis of the health of an agricultural environment. The person on duty thus becomes a front-line worker to participate in sustainable agriculture and help us meet the mandate of working towards a healthier environment. The job consists of taking the required air samples. The cassettes, once analyzed by the laboratory, will make itpossible to detect fungal diseases in crops even before the effects are visible or damage is too advanced.You will have to:\xc2\xb7 Take air samples in couples of specific fields according to a preestablished protocol\xc2\xb7 Verify the operational status of weather stations and other equipment during the season\xc2\xb7 Front line customer service by being present in the fieldIn-house coaching and training are provided to meet the requirements of the AIR program.Required Skills\xc2\xb7 Have access to a vehicle and have a valid driver's license\xc2\xb7 Good physical shape\xc2\xb7 Experience in the agricultural field (asset)Required Qualities\xc2\xb7 Organizational skills and ability to adapt to the unexpected\xc2\xb7 Autonomy and resourcefulness\xc2\xb7 Enjoy working outdoors in the countrysideWorking Conditions\xc2\xb7 Sampling requires 3 mornings per week depending to weather; 15 to 20 hours per week\xc2\xb7 Fixed-term contract of 10 weeks, end of June until August\xc2\xb7 Hourly wage of 16$/hour\xc2\xb7 Reimbursement of mileage costs 0,50$/kmJob Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
