The Taber Research Station is located southeast of the town of Taber. Work as part of a team and independently while assisting the Research Associates with the planting, mainentance and harvest of field crops and research activities during the spring and summer months. Tasks include seed packaging, trial site preparation, operation of small plot equipment including tractors, sprayers, implements and trucks and trailers, in field ratings and data collection, and other research tasks on and off the Station. Wage rate will depend on skills and experience.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license - proof of clean driving history required for insurance purposes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills and detail-oriented Ability to work extended hours as required Student or non-student
Assets:

Any type of previous research or farm experience (include on your application) Willing to learn tasks related to agricultural field research

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
